Annual Regulations

A.1. The 4th Pan American Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad (PAGMO 2024) will be hosted by Mexico.

A.2. The Official Program should begin on November 24th of 2024 and end on November 30th of 2024.

A.3. The official arrival/departure point will be The International Airport Guadalupe Victoria (DGO). Teams arriving for a different point must arrange his transport directly to the official Hotel. 

A.4. The Organization of PAGMO 2024 is in charge of the following committee:


A.5. The Contest papers for PAGMO 2024 are held on November 26th and 27th of 2024. 

A.6. Teams wishing to participate for the first time must apply to participate should send a solicitation to the Host Organization stating the intended team size through the email omm@ciencias.unam.mx until October 15th, 2024. Since the Host Organization can receive only a limited number of teams, their applications will be confirmed or declined by October 25th, 2024. 

A.7. The deadline to apply for observers is October 18th, 2024. The fee for each observer will be $800 USD. Since the Host Organization can receive only a limited number of teams, their applications will be confirmed or declined by October 25th, 2024. 

A.8. The deadline to confirm participation is August 31st, 2024. The detailing of the teams’ compositions must be informed before October 31st, 2024.

A.9. The deadline for fill out the arrival/departure details is November 17th. Teams that don't send this info must arrange his transport directly to the official hotel.

A.10. Proposals for problems must be sent to the PAGMO Problem Selection Committee, at pagmo.problemas@gmail.com before October 20th, 2024.

A.11. A document will be sent, to be signed by the participant’s legal guardians, agreeing that any photograph or video taken during the celebration of PAGMO 2024 may be published on the official website of the contest, as well as on their social networks.

A.12. The 2024 Perseverance Cup will be named Enriqueta González Baz y de la Vega, in honor of the first female Mexican mathematician, recognizing her contributions to mathematics and her role as an inspiration for future generations.
